Motives by SHENVA

MOTIVES Deftly driven by desire or need, or goad on by ghastly greed, mighty motive the decision makes, pointing to the path one takes. The brave warrior waging action, bold medals are a faction. Wooers proposing on bended knee, lifelong happiness their plea. The emoting actor gives his all,for applause at curtain call. Beware the one who performs the task wearing a smile and a mask. Robbers and thieves prowling night and day, someone's property their prey. Motives, the reasons all deeds are done, under the moon and the sun..

Motives by Linsey Taylor

Motives- Complex objects…for effect avarice pretext protests progress paychecks, protect, neglect, resurrect rednecks rubbernecks, get sex, shipwrecks. Titanic torque to New York get there sooner for more lucre same ole story grabbin at glory. Gold ring motive too explosive, colossal crash don’t get no cash, not your time, never not mine. Marchin makin mayors take note they gotta deliver or don’t get no vote. Misdirected motives, great mistake, sometimes just on the take. Penicillin cop bacteria shot by meanderin mold, still no cure for common cold. Science sharin not the pact, competin, cheatin (?) holdin back so some corporation gets more whack. While Starbucks (allegedly) avoidin tax. Creep eyed greed gettin more and more stomp small ventures through the floor, jackboots brute em out the door. Hormones, make ya bones motives more unplanned- pinned down, pent up, pay packet in hand spawn fights Sat’day nights and dudevorce, rednecks makin hay, out in force, chicks in the mix dudin and broodin, don’t want their night endin in losin. Rubberneck punter on the take falls in some shark chick’s wake, hotness hypnosis she overlooks flaws for chance to get him in her jaws. Next day dawn, drinkin done, frettin, regrettin, retract attack, senses back, smokin motives all but gone, mostly just movin on....

Motive by Justine

Motive Her motives weren’t ordinary Neither objective. They had more of a full moon momentum No moral militia She wanted to throw caution to the upredicatability Of intent The motion in motive Often compelled her Rattling snake like, Just below the bones A visceral rumble Times, it was silently persistent Like thoughts Elaborate in its appetite, With all her good intent Emotional hysteria often loomed Or psychological inertia She needed Ferocious abandon An Avant-garde intent Passion Desire Love These though proved difficult to attain Instead She often curled foetus like In a peace ball But if you listened closely You could still here the rumble The rattle of her motive © Justine McLaughlin 2013
