Martin Kennedy "Mirror" (second)

reflecting back a knew light engaged
in sight seeing thy soul fly in mists
window so high.

new world the story in portrait shape
looking back looking in at the reflecting
king.

colours of this rainbow a wash with gold
shining eyes peering out sing and shout
for the untamed mirror clearer now
for it sees summers sun cleaning
house.

Mirror by Justine

You’re My Mirror

Telling lies, that I’m okay
No conscience
Exact, I think,
Always reflective
Of the outside
Only in segments
Portions,
In Stages 123
Unless in full length

The cracked mirrors
More revealing
More accurate
Maybe,
Like a rippled lake
Trying to show
More depth

Mirrored,
No warmth,
Cold and hard
You’re shallow, flat
A copycat

You stare at
Off white walls
Magnolia,
Chip wood
And doors
All sorts
Hallways and stairs

Sometimes you catch me
In passing
In reflection
I see you,
I smile and
You smile back
I cry and
You reply
Simultaneously,
With tears

I bleed and
You copy
I laugh, but its
Not funny
I’m only laughing
on the outside
But you don’t know that
Cos your
Only a mirror

You don’t have ears
But you hear everything,
You’re not nosey
Just very aware,
One-dimensional.
You take the stance
Of face value

Cold,
Smooth,
You have
No other option,
You don’t smell
Or record
You’re just a voyeur

Your taste is of
The moment
The seconds
The minute

No record
No memory
Only the present
No worries

But you have
Something special
Like a cat,
You can see
In the dark

Mirror By Martin Kennedy

reflecting back images of chance
enhancing light space and view
looking through windows blue glass

seeing two glancing new
flying flight dancing through reflection
within the sand crystal clue cosmic
glue climb on through to the next space

spying eyes shooting skys light
taking flight seeing a refective view
its breaking in opening thy door to
next worlds. a shore line of skipping rainbows
souls die and joy of living again so romancing

oh fires joyous toy sitting up on a wall
saying i'm the prettiest of them all
call an' see me reflected on thy waterfall
renewing yesterdays call.

Mirror

Mirror Mirror on the wall
I woke one morning seeing a birdie,
having a chat with himself in a mirror
standing against the back yard wall.

Very funny, i can not explain the sight i saw
The feeling inside me shifted to thought....

Mirror mirror on the wall
Tell me, did we humans do the same,
A very very long time ago?
Our reflection shining back in the river flow.

Mirror mirror on the wall
Did we manage to see the image of Self?
I have to admit you are a brilliant tool
Somehow I know your follower will not be fooled.

Mirror By Erato (In French)

Miroir miroir
Dans tes yeux je lis
Le noir et la vie
Le reflet soudain
D’une joie sans fin
La beauté du soir
L’éphémère jour
Le temps passoire
Et l’espace qui court
Miroir miroir
Dans tes yeux je lis
Une âme qui jouit
De l’espoir infini
Une lumière jaillit
Et mon cœur sourit…

Mirror By Val Fletcher

The eyes are the mirror of our soul, the mirror shows us our face, our face shows our mood and our smile can change the day, and change the way we feel. Look in the mirror and see yourself, erase the frown thats lurking there, its all too easy to forget, smile and see the change and feel the change, you can only feel good and see the effect of a smile on other people when you smile at them, like a mirror they always smile back and that makes for a good day.

MIRROR
by Keith Mortimer Clancy

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Today,....I feel small
And locked out from my own love,
Every day I suffer but,
Strange as it seems I know,
My love lives more pure inside than ever,

I may be locked out of the garden so,
I shall spend my time ......
Inventing the smells,
Inventing the colours,
Inventing my own sounds of water running
I shall make and need my heart to reopen so much,
That such longing itself shall be my suffice

I shall spen this time thinking
Of those like me with closed hearts
I shall want always for them to join me,
In smashing down these gates which have barred all lovely,
People from the Gardens.

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
What advice have you, for us all?
