Rhythm by Gem
His fingers run up & down
The ivory & black
Caressing each finger with a silken touch
His breath slows
His heartbeat quickens
His fingers tapping out a rhythm
Massaging each note of the melody
Bringing it to climax
Silence!
He falls back
Breathing Dee
A charismatic smile playing on his lips
The ivory & black
Caressing each finger with a silken touch
His breath slows
His heartbeat quickens
His fingers tapping out a rhythm
Massaging each note of the melody
Bringing it to climax
Silence!
He falls back
Breathing Dee
A charismatic smile playing on his lips

Rhythm
You have it
I love your
Drum talk
Your meter
Your method
Your pulse
The beat
The pace
A son clave
A boss nova
A short delay
Your tempo
Doubles
Triples
It affects my balance
Your prosody
Your stresses
Long short
Short long
They command me
Beat me
Pitch, low in deliverance
High in effect
You’re a Griot
Oral
Gun
Dun
Go
Do
Pa
Ta
Your African
A Djembe
Tabla complex
My drum
Keeps you in line
In harmony
In time
We make sounds
Variations
In Length
Accentuating
The highs, lows
A flow
A wave
Symmetry
The ripples
Always an event
I clap and
You gesture me
Always in time

Rhythm
I held you so close
I felt the rhythm of your heart
Beating loudly
Next to mine
The love you held for me
Shone bright in your eyes
We were two souls that had met by chance
And were now bonded together
By the rhythm of our love
A love like this was so pure
And like the rhythm of our hearts
Would always beat true
I saw a tear glisten in your eye
But it was only a tear of happiness
I drew in the essence of your being
And the blanket of your love
Envolped me and made me feel safe
We were bound by passion
And as our hearts continued to beat their rhythm
Our love continued to live
Now and forever…
I held you so close
I felt the rhythm of your heart
Beating loudly
Next to mine
The love you held for me
Shone bright in your eyes
We were two souls that had met by chance
And were now bonded together
By the rhythm of our love
A love like this was so pure
And like the rhythm of our hearts
Would always beat true

RYTHM
Breathing
Walking
Catching up with
Talking
Touching
It's all printed in you
by the time you were
in her womb
And you are still trying
to let go of
her rythm.
And you'll always be.

Touching

her rythm.
And you'll always be.

Hi,
Its great , I found your site
I can sit here now and write
A verse or two,or three or four
And maybe publish them, and more
"Rythym" movers and the shakers
Electricians,Vicars,Quakers
Imagination running riot
All I want is peace and quiet
I may see you in Earls Court Road
Feel the rythym then explode
All for now,the Weather's fine
A happy healthy year 09

Rhythm by Attila Kent
New times born of days gone by.
Lessons learnt again. Remembering of what is meant to be.
Energy spent, regathered.
Time misspent?
Or an awakening ?
All is as it is, all a lesson.
All diversions full of purpose
Leading us back
To where we are meant to go.
Lessons learnt again. Remembering of what is meant to be.
Energy spent, regathered.
Time misspent?
Or an awakening ?
All is as it is, all a lesson.
All diversions full of purpose
Leading us back

IN THE BEGINNING, ALL IS BEAT
The first thing felt, beat, heard, beat,
seen in blackened red? Beat.
In the beginning all is beat.
All the wheels that turn, beat. Staccato
rain lashes tin, beat. Marching sleet soldiers
spit cadence to a concrete haze, beat.
Tired weary that is my heart, beat.
Beat righteous.
Beat true.
My dead friend, beat, says it’s strange
to stare unblinking at the Universe
when you can’t take in nor out a breath, beat.
First the beat, last the beat, all the time between, beat.
Neanderthal man stomp on dusty floors, beat.
Voodoo and the queen of time, beat.
Before the fires, beat, in the bang, beat,
the unknown evermore, beat, beat, beat.
This is the beat that you know and you hear,
you first met flying in blackened red,
beat, infinite first of ends, beat.
Beat righteous.
Beat true.
This island floating in space, beat,
lust beat, hate beat, horror pain decay, beat.
Volcanoes erupting oceans of lava
five hundred billion
years ago, beat, beat, beat.
The first things beat and the first thing heard was beat
which they then on and thereafter knew, beat.
In beat
the beginning
the flying the seeking
beat ever repeating
beat words beat song beat soul,
first beginning of ends, beat
in song the beat began beat
it is beat begins the song
beat.
The first thing felt, beat, heard, beat,

Listen to It,
Move with It,
Smile along with it.

Moving with all energie in Motion.

Rythme d’une vie brisée
Bancale
Elle s’est mise à boiter
De sa fenêtre, les matins d’hiver
Elle peut voir les feuilles
Encore fragilement accrochées
Danser, frétiller comme des poissons
Au rythme d’un vent tourbillon
Elle n’a pas le son
C’est un film muet
L’histoire ?

The beat
The pace
A son clave
A boss nova
A short delay
Your tempo
Doubles
Triples
It affects my balance
Your prosody
Your stresses
Long short
Short long
They command me
Beat me
Pitch, low in deliverance
High in effect
You’re a Griot
Oral
Gun
Dun
Go
Do

Your African
A Djembe
Tabla complex
My drum
Keeps you in line
In harmony
In time
We make sounds
Variations
In Length
Accentuating
The highs, lows
A flow
A wave
Symmetry
The ripples
Always an event
I clap and
You gesture me
Always in time
