The Arts Show @ The Arts Club
The idea for the show was born at our previous bookshop is Earls Court and put together by members of the bookshop - primarily Patrick Swift, Sean Duffy and Sadia Dive- with help from many others (see credits).
The idea was to have an inclusive, fun, charity arts event.
Included among the numerous artists exhibiting and performing were artists from the charities
Portugal Prints (Westminster Mind), PhotoVoice and Look Ahead Housing & Care.
In all over 40 artists exhibited. We had painting, sculpture, poetry(by Poets Window of course), music and film.
The evening proved an enourmous success with over 600 people attending. We raised in excess of £4,500 which was divided between Portugal Prints, PhotoVoice, Samaritans and Shelter.
