Virtues by Sean

Virtues by Sean

The past is calling
Itself the present
The past is calling
The Shots

Come here my past
Reveal the secrets you hold
Come my past
Be bold

I am ready
Patient
When you wish
To reveal to me

The secrets of my past
That have baffled
And
Confounded me

A voice
Speaks of decay
And I run away
In fight and dismay

Now I have strength
I am a spy
Breaking the code
Of the past lie

Freedom as I walk through
The arch letting the
Whispers of the dark
Scream themselves away

Virtues by Martin Kennedy

Branches of thought in the word
Silent giving and forgiving
Living with musical hope

Movement of energy with serenity
A swans empathy embrace.
Heavenly

Bees honey and nursery bunny
Moment oh moment in the trees
On thy knees is it breezy

Open door in cellar floor
Mind open giving is chosen
Embrace this race
Heart is on our face.
Action reaction

Virtues in love ( October 2009)

Appeased is that yearning.
Oh dear Chastity does
Heaven have a place in space?

As the warm and tender Autumn leaves fall,
Temperance permeating the cool air,
then she cries ‘ Stop that charity!
Embrace me because you need me,
kiss me because you want me,
Hold me as if nothing else matters.’

Diligence do not abandon me,
Patience strengthen me. Where is he?
Kindness find him.
When the dark side of him
bids the last farewell
him who with humility, at peace at last,
lowers his eyes
to kiss me.

Virtues by Fassbinder

Virtuous Reality by Fassbinder

A cousin who didn't believe
in The Above
asked how to be virtuous
when ignorant
of The Seven Virtues

"Give Love" he was told
"... then do the same again ...
half a dozen times more".

Virtues by Anissa

7 Heavenly Virtues by Anissa Ladjemi

His kite fly’s over the shanty town
Wind blows it high into the dusty sky.

Boy walks in, dark eyes looking big and sad
Can I ask you a favour?
My mummy’s feeling sad
Has lost her faith
Not been this bad since my brother died
She’s sick, bed bound

Could you make her feel better?
You know what it is like to suffer
Me suffer says the child born into poverty?
Oh love you have been through enough
I blink to stop my eyes welling up

So I write this letter in the vain hope
That you can take comfort from my words
In your hour of need
I fear we may be lost in translation my dear?

Different people from other sides of the world
I’m English you’re Portuguese
I don’t want to patronize you
So bear with me please.

I’m nervous don’t know where to start
What I am trying to say is this everything happens for a reason
For all the physical things you cannot do
You make up for it in other ways.

Gives you an inner strength
You’re Beautiful inside and out
It makes you strong brave and unique
Don’t you ever forget that?

Life is hard, and you want to give up, your only human
Ignore those who turn their head away who are too blind to see
The beauty that’s in you and me

Draw hope from those around you
Your loving family, wonderful son whatever it is that brings you peace
The respect you deserve and the courage to carry on?
I have faith in you I know you can

I’ll stop rambling maybe these fumbling words are of no use?
But I promised your little boy I would.
When he talks of his mummy his eyes shine bright
He will always make you proud.

His kite fly’s over the shanty town
Wind blows it high into the dusty sky.

"Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue."

Patience

Yes this is Gold
Yes this is Real.
It may seem sureal
can you imagine?

Adam, wanted his Eve,
Eve wanted her Adam.
But God knew better,
Adam did not have to grieve.
The only need Patience to believe!

Yes It is worth Gold.
Yes it is Real
Only with Patience,
all will be Revealed.

Patience

If it takes all the patience
in the world darling
I will wait for you

However many years it may take
I will wait for you
through all seasons
summer and winter
autumn and spring
I will be waiting for you

Time is nothing
as one day
you will be mine
and my patience will be
so richly rewarded
and we will be
together as one...

Virtues by Aaron Flynn

It Takes Courage

It takes courage
to admit
you are a coward;
to draw
sharpened steel
across your flesh;
to inhale
the exhaust fumes
from a car as though it were
a salt-tanged breeze.
Please.
It takes courage to be a coward.
The Lion was wrong.
Courage and cowardice
are not opposites,
they are bedfellows.
They are
the most intimate of partners,
joined at the groin,
at their loins,
separated only by
perspective
and nothing
else.

7 Deadly Sins by Erato

I have to confess
I do
Sin
A little bit everyday
A little bit more
A little bit less
Half wooden red half creamy white
A human being
Indeed
I am.
