Stormswoop
Swallowsong splinters
shriek across sky,
stormswoop of arrow notes
piercing thunderheads
with needles of sound;
releasing rain
down
--------and
---------------------down
sharp, stumbling drops,
stinging, pricking,
stabbing dry earth
to life.
